1. Acceptance
By using ResumePulse you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
2. What ResumePulse is
A free, no-signup tool that analyzes resume files for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility and returns an automated score, breakdown, and written recommendations. It is informational only.
3. Not a guarantee of employment
A high score does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. Recruiter decisions involve factors well beyond ATS compatibility. Use our output as one signal among many. We are not a recruiter, employer, career counselor, lawyer, or licensed professional advisor.
4. Acceptable use
- Submit only resumes you authored or have permission to analyze.
- Do not submit malware, executable payloads, or files designed to abuse the parser.
- Do not scrape, automate, or rate-limit-bypass the service.
- Do not use the API to enrich or sell third-party personal data.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the engine.
We may rate-limit, block, or terminate access at our discretion if these rules are violated.
5. Your content
You retain all ownership of your resume content. You grant ResumePulse a limited, revocable license to process the content solely to generate your analysis. Resume files are not stored — see the Privacy Policy.
6. Our content
The ResumePulse engine, scoring methodology, UI, copy, and brand are our intellectual property. The score and recommendations generated for you are yours to use freely. Do not republish them as if they were a third-party endorsement.
7. Shared links
Anyone with a share link can view that result. Don't share links containing information you wouldn't want public. We can revoke a shared link if it appears to be abused.
8. Waitlist and emails
Joining the waitlist adds your email to a one-time launch notification list. You may unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us.
9. No warranty
ResumePulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Scores are produced by automated heuristics and machine-learning models that can and do make mistakes.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumePulse and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost profits, or lost data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months — which, for the free tier, is zero.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold ResumePulse harmless from claims arising out of resumes or content you submit, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate the service, or your access to it, at any time. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, warranty disclaimer, liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, India, unless local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
